The KABALIKAT 38

We adhere to the vision, mission, and principles of Kabalikat Civicom and we strongly believe that no one is above anybody--the voice of each member is crucial to every decision we make as ONE chapter. We continue to build ourselves with trust, loyalty, and confidence to KABALIKAT-CIVICOM as a whole and to each other's capacity to be of service to others in the best way we can. We therefore welcome you all to the Kabalikat Civicom - Quezon City Central Chapter!

In November 2004, he became a member of Kabalikat Civicom and was appointed as the vice-president of the former Kabalikat Unity Group-Commonwealth Chapter with 638-03 as his call sign. Due to some internal issues that arose among some chapters under Kabalikat Civicom, the Unity Group resigned and left then joined the Kabalikat Charity headed by the former KC101.

"Timmy" was the first pawikan BWF helped rescue in tandem with Bantay Dagat, an organization of small fisherfolk, and the Municipal Fishery and Aquatic Resources Management Council (MFARMC) of Tagkawayan, Quezon, also lent a hand.

Yet, not everyone in the Unity group was even informed about its decision. Ted and some other members remained loyal to the Kabalikat Civicom. Since then, they became freelancers yet active members of the organization even without a group name.

What does it mean to be a Kabalikat?

Ako ay Kabalikat dahil gusto kong personal na maranasan ang kaligayahan ng pagtulong sa iba nang walang materyal na kapalit.  Iba yung pakiramdam na may natutulungan kang ibang tao lalo na yung di mo kakilala.

Every Kabalikat Civicom member has undergone  similar experiences in joining the group. More than the pains they got in various physical activities given to them are the values inculcated in them to selflessly serve others.

The Essence of Kabalikat

KABALIKAT CIVICOM proved its commitment to serve humanity at all cost through its relief-giving operation for the Mayon Volcano victims held at Albay Camarines Sur.  They were displaced in the area at the height of the volcanic eruption last July, 2006.
